EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area | Access2Markets Exporting from the EU to Ukraine under the Association Agreement

I think it's better to start looking at debating Article 49 than looking for ways to cherry pick a way back into the SM.

the DCTFA was designed for eastern bloc nations joining. it's not for large economies leaving.

This sympathetically interview with Matthew Goodwin of Reform could have had a clearer headline. He is ofc complaining about a swastika being put on his door. The candidate does offer a misleading account of one specific episode he cites re chilling effects

Is this the workable Brexit deal no one is talking about? Currently the UK cannot strike trade deals independently of the EU, but the countries participating in DCFTAsย can

I think it is more than a little misleading. the DCFTA was designed specifically for Eastern Bloc nations joining...people need to give up on the idea of cherry picking SM access and move towards a debate about article 49.

If any journalists are interested in working on a feature on the racists so excited by Rupert Lowe's Restore UK political party that they cite it in committing racist hate crimes, do let me know. Some of the racists might talk but this mobilisation raises political, policy and policing questions

This is an old discussion from nine years ago It was not an option back then and it's not now.

this article is actually very misleading. Eastern block DCFTAs are designed for integration of nations seeking to join the EU, not for a major economy leaving it. And not an option for the UK to cherry pick access to the SM.

Snap judgement on Trump Supreme Court verdict - UK largely unaffected, may get lower tariffs now, but hadn't committed much to get them. EU, never ratified Trump deal anyway, now don't until the next step. China, still tariffs.

More affected - those who did full deals e.g. Indonesia, Vietnam

Graphic declaring Northern Ireland is outperforming every UK region, including London, in the Labour Market.

Graphic declaring Northern Ireland is outperforming every UK region, including London, in the Labour Market.

HMRC just published payroll data for the UK...and it turns out, Northern Ireland is the *only* region in the UK with positive growth in the labour market.

NI is actually outperforming London in the labour market!

Which is unheard of in the 103 years history of NI as a UK region.
