It doesn’t show me anything different from the others. It shows all of my coverage same as it does for medical and vision and the other sections, but when my provider looks me up they say my insurance company is showing me as having insurance, but every code they try says “no coverage”. 😑

This is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. They literally cannot tell me why my account when I log into the website gives me a breakdown of my dental benefits, same as it does for vision, prescription, mental health and medical… but their system says I don’t actually have insurance.

“Sir, I haven’t been under 18 for 20 years, and as you can see, this plan only covers *me*, so why would I have a plan that covers me but only if I were under 18?”

“I do not know.”

Listen, UHC, I’m not saying this kind of thing justifies shooting your CEO, but this is definitely why people hate insurance companies and feel like they’re giving you their money just for you to bend them over and fuck them every chance you get.

Hell is being put on hold by your insurance provider while they try to figure out why they don’t have access to the insurance information they provide for you, only for them to say, “I know your account says you have insurance, and gives you a breakdown of benefits, but uh, actually… you don’t.”
