Indeed - I'm fairly sure the commentary started off saying it was not just banned but wiped, then went on the say it was screened at festivals and won an academy award (I'm not going back to listen again!) It was premiered at the National Film Theatre in 1966, which is impressive for a banned film

I went to ham school and got Performing Arts degree.

There isn't much point in speculating how a LibDem/Lab coalition would have gone, but the Lib Dems got played, and I'm still not sure if Clegg was complicit or suckered.

How would you like it remembered? I remember it as Clegg selling out and making the party unelectable. I'm still a Lib Dem supporter, have a Lib Dem MP, and reckon that Davey is doing a pretty good job, but I'm not going to forgive Clegg squandering all that 2010 goodwill.
