@stephruhle.bsky.social has been saying for months that he just wants to impose tariffs so that he can play kingmaker and grant waivers to his friends and whoever sucks up to him. I’m no economic expert, but that would in my mind explain why he just wants any excuse to impose them on anyone he can

I wrote a rock opera (popera?) in 2020 that was a monster movie allegory for what we were living through. It was warmly received by several tens of people, so I guess time for a sequel? They’re always better.

The country’s about to have every department run by Dick Tracy’s Rogues Gallery, my hopeful distraction of the Sixers have the worst record in the NBA, and Piglet was just told he ate his daily food allotment already…and it’s not even 8 pm. We’re all doing great!
