Elon Musk Mad At Thought Of ‘The Odyssey’s Helen Of Troy Being Black, Says Christopher Nolan “Has Lost His Integrity” As moviegoers await the Imax epic that is Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey', some are already ripping apart the film.

lol What's the scientifically accurate race of a lady who hatched from an egg after a god turned into a swan and knocked up her mom? You know, the race a person of "integrity" would look to in casting that part?

in general it is very strange for anyone — even gutter racists — to imagine the mediterranean world as somehow looking like northern europe.

If a university student group had celebrated Charlie Kirk being killed, complete with a graphic made from an actual picture of the killing, the whole lot of them would have been expelled before the ink on the digital story was dry.

Look, if all of the obvious AIness of it wasn't enough of a hint, the fact that the ICE goons are unmasked is a dead giveaway.

Put another way, we could get rid of corn ethanol, switch 30% of the freed-up farmland to solar to generate 100% of US electricity, and use the other 70% of the freed-up land for whatever we want.

This Member of Congress finally got access to the Minneapolis detention center and her report is genuinely appalling. Please watch and share.

The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.

the Epstein files make it very clear why the MeToo backlash was so extreme and why so much of elite society preferred Donald Trump ruling us like a king to the barest hint of accountability

The people who are saying shit like "well it's either this or the borders are totally open" are doing their best to convince America that we should have completely open borders.

Good work here and also Democrats should know people are desperate to see any politician getting off their asses and actually helping people and that will be remembered.

Regardless of their level of involvement, one thing that’s clear is there’s not one person named in the Epstein files who believed those girls were people.

Catherine O’Hara Could Do Anything And she pretty much did everything. The only tragedy is that it feels like she was just beginning to get the recognition her decades-long career always deserved.

For The Ringer, I wrote about how amazing it was that the brilliant Catherine O'Hara finally became a superstar in her 60s, and how sad it is that she was taken from us just when we had all finally begun to appreciate her:

What the vultures dearly want is a public response, which then provides a public opening for an onslaught of venomous attacks, many from just publicity seekers or cranks of all sorts -- which are impossible to answer (how do you prove that you are not a neo-Nazi who wants to kill the Jews, or a rapist, or whatever charge comes along?). That's particularly true now with the hysteria that has developed about abuse of women, which has reached the point that even questioning a charge is a crime worse than murder. For virtually everyone who sees any of this, the reaction will be "where there's smoke there's fire, maybe raging fire" (whatever the facts, which few will even think of investigating).
In general, it's best I think not to react unless directly questioned, particularly in the current mood -- which, I presume, will fade away, even if not in time to prevent much torture and distress.

I just voted against funding for DHS, ICE, and Trump’s lawless administration. We need to defund ICE, get them out of our communities, and abolish this violent agency. Not one more nickel for Trump and his MAGA minions.

Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

Galaxy AI does have a setting 'process data only on device' which theoretically helps with this. However, I have yet to find any way of disabling Galaxy AI entirely and have had to just settle for clicking every individual AI setting to no (and disabling Gemini, which does have that option).
