I’m kinda partial to Cambria and Moonstone Beach. My favorite place in the US. Wanted to retire there but it’s so $$$.

I’m a Cal poly grad. Spent a lot of time at Montana de Oro. Great memories.

I’ve found the liquid in a jar of jalapeños makes an excellent addition to things like soups, refried beans, etc.

You could also make things like jalapeño poppers, or jalapeño dip!

I used to volunteer in the vivarium at school. I’d go in there between classes and hold the snakes, making my arm and hand branch-like and they’d move slowly between my fingers. Good for stress relief.

In saying the above, I’m reminded of something the late Andy Rooney (60 Minutes commentator) said: “People don’t wage wars, governments do”.

I’m sickened by what is happening to Ukraine, but hesitant to condemn the Russian people for it. Yes they are silent while their government butchers Ukrainians, but are we so different in the US? What did we do to stop Palestine, Iraq, Vietnam, and so many other civilian massacres?

If those that encouraged you will be with you they know what they’re in for.
As for non-stop activity, sounds like a guided tour. Try to skip the tour one day and relax at a cafe. We did that in my pre-MS days, and wasn’t even a guided tour. Still needed that rest day.
