Yeah, it's pretty blatant!

You couldn't really tell back in the late VHS era.

I might have watched that particular bit of Dressed to Kill very closely at a certain age. You know, just to study the cinematic technique of it. The artistry that went into it.

Hope everybody enjoyed that round of "LA is a bit weird and sleazy under all the gloss", not a new statement even then, but I think De Palma does it funniest.

Pino Donaggio was always really good at going full Bernard Herrmann with his suspense music. I think the stuff that stands out to me of his work and sets him apart are the airy female vocal led pieces.

Craig Wasson really is a delightful lead in this, he's very none-standard. A bit nerdy and weedy, very vulnerable, not your usual sexy idol or square jawed chump. As such, I feel kinda protective for him, even when he's engaging in his worst impulses.
