I think True Blue must be the best. I only know the five singles from it but two of them are great (Live To Tell and Papa Don’t Preach) and the other three are very good (Open Your Heart, La Isla Bonita and True Blue).

Mine are older and have similar ‘old school’ tastes but they also appear to know quite a lot about modern mainstream stuff even though they don’t listen to it, so your son might know more than you think.

Mason is either being disingenuous in an attempt to discredit Ed Davey’s entirely reasonable comments, or cannot recognise the difference between an accusation of having actually done something and a suggestion that they might as well have done that thing. Either way, he should be shown the door.

For a laugh, when this was repeated earlier, my wife called me into the living room to watch, knowing full well that I would become enraged by Mason, who knows that Davey didn’t say the BBC actually cut and paste Reform content, just that they might as well do so, the snivelling grovelling idiot.

There is an issue to discuss here but the discussion is cheapened by sensationalism. 1) It was not “Zack’s party” when this decision was made, and 2) the planned affordable housing is still going ahead but through a Housing Association, the headline suggests the project had been scrapped.

Two points perhaps worth considering. 1) This is from almost a year ago, and although I can’t be sure, I don’t think Polanski’s leadership was made retrospective. 2) The decision appears to be that an affordable housing project was still agreed but by a Housing Association rather than the council.

Anyone interviewed Laure Ferrari’s conveyancing solicitors (like they did with Rayner’s) to find out how she passed the Anti Money Laundering checks and proved the source of funds were hers? If Farage paid for it, he’d already declared himself the beneficial owner in the press - so an implied trust!

The government has done some good things in its first year but also some not so good things and is letting Farage set the tone by chasing the Reform vote. Labour should be challenging the tiresome Reform narrative on immigration and be leading a progressive coalition of the left/centre left/centre.

… I have just read a very interesting piece about how he appears to have avoided stamp duty, so you might want to start with that one. If you suggest that Farage isn’t such a prominent figure, then why do you give him such prominence otherwise. Thank you.

Can you please explain to me why you are treating Angela Rayner’s personal tax affairs as a major story, when you don’t appear to be interested in the tax affairs of other political figures such as Nigel Farage…
