Frey spin room is going all out to try to-
1) dog whistle their way out of a loss
2) cover for the fact that they didn't count delegates before leading a walkout
3) obscure the reality that delegates were willing to stick around for over 12 hours in a plea for better leadership

Omar Fateh is the consensus candidate we need to ensure we leave convention with an endorsement, support him on your second ballot!

If I miss the entirety of the WNBA All Star game tomorrow because of convention... Y'all studbudz have made this the gayest sports weekend we've ever had access to.

The fact that there are young trans people now who know it's there and are being banned from accessing it... And now have to live with the additional weight of knowing someone has deemed they shouldn't have it... It's just fucking devastating

I can't begin to express what a difference access to gender affirming care would have made to me when I was young - and how that would have continued to benefit me as an adult. I didn't even know it existed.

I love Blackheart because tonight alone, I've met three Asters, two Kais, and four Ems. I've discussed the Lynx record too many times to count, and chanted "trans masc" just for fun a couple of times. I love Minneapolis, but we don't have a queer bar that comes anywhere near this.

Minneapolis Council Vice President Chughtai fails to win DFL endorsement; assault allegations fly Council Member Aisha Chughtai alleged a supporter of her opponent, Lydia Millard, assaulted her during the Ward 10 DFL endorsing convention.

Another possible headline could be: "Well-Financed Challenger Lydia Millard Fails To Win Endorsement Despite Big Spending by pro-Frey PAC."

After a powerful day of organizing, the Ward 10 Convention ended with us in first place with 52% of the delegates. This win is a testament to our transformative work together over the last 4 years and the power of our vision of a city where everyone has what they need to thrive.

There is no moral distinction between taking healthcare away from trans people and taking healthcare away from undocumented people.

Business has finally started after Rev. McAfee got up to say DFL is disrespectful for having convention on Sunday. Hearing from delegates that McAfee's son came with and threatened to slap an old woman. We've now moved to Mayoral candidates speaking

Ward 5 Convention kicks off to the candidate speaking time being ignored so Mayor Frey can talk right away, immediate confusion to whether or not we are having a prayer break, and complaints about the heat. Strong start

Just last October, the Police Department used City resources to hold a Catholic Mass. During Ramadan in 2023 and again in 2024, Chief Brian O’Hara used City resources to host an iftar in the community.
