It doesn't look like your article has been updated to reflect that Trump's economic justifications fell apart, when he slapped tariffs on Brazil for prosecuting a former executive of their government.

It's in the plain text of the constitution that the president doesn't set tariffs, congress does. Our super majority "originalist" supreme Court though seems to care less and less about what the constitution says, and even about things like legal precedent, or the law.

From what I've seen a lot of the stuff they know should not be in a budget bill is super vague, in an apparent attempt to evade the parliamentarian. This is a terrible way to write laws! Really nail them on the chaos they're creating. Do they want NASA to randomly pick a new home for Discovery?
