Alex Pretti, the man killed by federal agents today in Minneapolis, appears to have been a registered nurse, an athlete, a son and a brother, with ties to Colorado and Wisconsin.

Here is a photo he used for several accounts.

NYT push alert: "A person was shot dead today during a struggle with federal agents in Minneapolis, according to officials."

By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.

So I watched the shooting video frame by frame and it looks like:

1) They were beating a struggling man with batons

2) His jacket opened revealing a gun in his waistband or lower back

3) The agent in gray grabbed the gun and was walking away

4) THEN the other agents shot the man in the back

i do genuinely think we need to jail every single person currently working for ICE

Put up the antique ceramic stations of the cross at church super excited I found them… was missing the little removable crosses on the top for the 6th station. ADHD is a hell of a thing. 🤣😅

I had so very much wanted to be there, but alas I was far more tired than I had realized!

This sermon is well worth a read… especially for the many of us who felt like threats of hellfire and damnation were cast on us for merely existing throughout our experience in church.

It's really weird to read the literature on religious sacrifice and see that word though, especially now that it's been associated with the Shoah.

When the translators of the Septuagent translated 'olah, they settled on ὁλόκαυστος (holocaustos), which combines holo (whole) and caustos (burned), which is how we get the use of "holocaust" to refer to that particular offering.
