πŸ‘ Israeli KKK, terrorizing Palestinian farmers, gouge the eyes out of sheep, torture and kill them. All under the protection of the IDF. What the KKK did to Black farmers in the Jim Crow South, Israeli settlers now do to Palestinian familiesβ€”under the protection of soldiers.

There's "we disagreed" and there's "his hands bore the blood of tens of thousands of children."
Empathy for villians of that magnitude is cruelty to their victims.

Dems had the strongest majority they have had in my lifetime, and somehow Republicans still got their way.
Why is the majority only powerless when democrats control it?
They're scamming us.

The image shows a person sitting outdoors, leaning on a railing. They are wearing a black shirt and a black cap. The background features a grassy area with a road and trees, indicating a suburban or rural setting.

Overlaid on the image is text that reads: "I bring a sort of 'borders shouldn’t exist' vibe to the immigration debate that liberals don’t really like." The text uses a mix of regular and bold fonts, with certain phrases highlighted in black boxes.

How's that strategy been working out for them?

That is James Earl Jones reading a transcript of Paul Robeson's testimony.
It wasn't recorded. It was transcribed. Actors reinacted it later. Paul Robeson had a very distinct deep voice, as did James Earl Jones.

Again, Russia is no longer communist or socialist.
China is a lot better than Americans think it is.

This has been the democrats strategy for years, and they keep losing again and again.
They run to the right, trying to court mythical moderate Republicans. They don't exist.
You lose the left without gaining the right, and shift the Overton window to the right in the process.

Langston Hughes, W.E.B. DuBois, and Paul Robeson for example, were all huge admires of Lenin and the USSR. During their lifetime, it was the only country on earth where racial discrimination was illegal.

I'm not going to defend Stalin or modern day Russia. But the USSR made tremendous strides for humanity, compared to the Russian Empire that preceded it. Many prominent African Americans traveled to the USSR and found they were treated MUCH better there than they had ever been treated in the US.

The Soviet Union fell decades ago. Russia today is a right-wing hell hole.
There are certainly valid criticisms of Stalin, and the Soviet Union, and ANY government, but much of what we're taught about communist countries is just propaganda.

Do you think maybe what you've heard about countries like the USSR and China might not be 100% accurate?

Dem (with a SUPERmajority) didn't hold anyone from the Bush administration accountable for their crimes. They didn't even TRY to get universal healthcare. They dropped the public option in exchange for ZERO Republican votes, handing them the individual mandate they'd been after since the Nixon era.

I voted for him in the primary and the general election in 2008 for that reason, but he disappointed me almost immediately. Literally everything I had protested under Bush continued (or even accelerated) under Obama. Drone strikes, tax cuts, Patriot act, deportations, oil pipelines, etc.

No place is ideal, but I'm trying to find a place to flee to in Cuba if worst comes to worst.
They have universal healthcare and some of the most progressive gay rights in the world.

Again, this is something you never want to say to a leftist.
All we hear is, "Let's take care of MY problem first, then yall can fend for yourselves."

Even if it requires fighting liberals?
People like Obama need to be held accountable too.

Yes this is the worst thing we've ever seen. Bush was the worst thing we had seen up until that point. The next thing will be worse than this, if we don't tear down the machinery of fascism.
It is not enough to get rid of Trump. We have to get rid of the condition that created him.

My views are extreme. I am a communist. And I've heard your rhetoric before. Liberals insist that the current president is the worst in history and that our first priority must be defeating him. But once thats done, they declare victory and ditch us.
Why should we trust you this time?

After WW2, the US absorbed as many Nazi officers and scientists as they could get their hands on and founded NATO and NASA, respectively.
They propped up far-right politicians in Europe, and assassinated any left-leaning ones that started to gain too much power.
The US kept fascism alive ever since
