Lovely thing about the Midwest is that people in every major city end up knowing people from or who have lived in the other places, and everyone’s rooting for each other in a way you just don’t get on the coasts. Fuck yeah Detroit, fuck yeah Milwaukee, fuck yeah Minneapolis-St Paul, now and forever.

Navigating Detroit is so weird to someone coming from Chicago. Everywhere is both 2.5 miles and only 8 mins drive away from everywhere else.
