• Join your union
• Join the marches & rallies & petitions
• Educate thyself (including pronunciation o te reo Māori)
• Talk to your community, not just parliament
• Tell the people doing the good things that you love them

• Breathe
Here's a thing for worried ppl, esp those feeling they need to do SOMETHING, but unsure what. I wrote it with Māori comms advice (thx!) . I linked to @drbex.bsky.social re 'don't comply in advance!'. I forgot: display symbols & give your fam H. E.'s "Aroha" for Christmas. awc.org.nz/things-you-c...

We’re using Duro-Tuss, bottle says strawberry flavor but B reckons it tastes like honey! Using both the day & the night versions. Does seem to help but one cough sets off a chain, particularly like you say, in the evening & morning.

Watching the election results with my parents for the first time since 2011 when I spent the whole night trying to build up the nerve to tell them I was getting divorced. Similar sense of throat tightness tonight (to be clear, for very different reasons)

Of all days to wear a bright pink dress to work. 🤦♀️ Didn’t leave the office during the day & glad to have a full length coat for the commute home.

A leaders' debate should have all parties who have a likely chance of getting in per current polling. This "major"/"minor" party stuff is nonsense in MMP. Especially this election, with the way polls are looking.
