After yesterday's threatened thunder we actually had some today; the low, distant rumbling of English summer thunder.

Won second place with two teammates in Brampton Bowling Club's Mixed Triples competition. Actually won some money! Founded in 1761 it is Britain's second oldest bowling club.

I have been a caravan or motorhome or camper van owner for over 40 years. We always holiday in the UK and always stay on proper campsites. We know what passing places are for on single track roads. We always shop and eat locally to where we are staying. We wish we had aires like in France.

Our blind Jack Russell called Molly enjoys the occasional ice cream on a stick.

Good morning Shirley. What the Supreme Court did yesterday was clarify an existing law. You can see by the front pages of today’s Mail and Express that certain right wing people revel in it. What it shows, though, is the law needs to have a good looking at to be more inclusive and understanding.

Good morning Shirley. I hope this finds you well. Lovely photo. My elderly US friend in Seattle is marching against Trump, going to meetings and hopes to be still alive to see him voted out next time. Unless he ignores the Constitution and tries for a third term. Unbelievable.
