When you ask me what I am doing today, and I say "nothing," it does not mean I am free. It means I am doing nothing. Woke. Lefty. European. Xtn. Play/coach lawn bowls, weather obs, Jack Russells, cats, clouds, photography, people’s stories, campervans.

After yesterday's threatened thunder we actually had some today; the low, distant rumbling of English summer thunder.

We know what passing places are for on single track roads. We always shop and eat locally to where we are staying. We wish we had aires like in France.

It’s extraordinary that so much media still reports on Trump with the old, redundant tools of the trade. He lied about Ukraine, then he tried to extort Ukraine, and having failed he threatens to walk away from Ukraine. The idea that he was ever going to do anything unwelcome to Putin is ridiculous.

You can see by the front pages of today’s Mail and Express that certain right wing people revel in it. What it shows, though, is the law needs to have a good looking at to be more inclusive and understanding.
