As a driver this looks great to me. I hate blocking a sidewalk with people on it while waiting to make my turn, but I often need to inch forward to see if there's an opening.

Numbing both the military and population to using the military illegally. If Trump were to position himself as the source of money for the military I'd be very, very worried.

Up to a certain point, bike lanes benefit more drivers than cyclists. Each person who choses to bike instead of drive improves the drive for every other driver, and as a cyclist, just for themself.

Drivers should be mad that *more* bike lanes aren't being built.

Like how their "fiscally conservative" policies are actually bad economically, their "tough on crime" policies are also known to do nothing to prevent crime. It's just populist rhetoric based on punishment for the sake of punishment.

They complain about the cost of plowing bike lanes but plowing and then surfacing bike lanes for skating is fine.

Major improvements in 10 years with the right mayor. We almost had that in Ottawa but the city elected Mark Sutcliffe who fights on the side of cars, not people.

Fund transit: If you do, you get less traffic.
If you don't, you get endless construction and road expansions that costs more than funding transit and doesn't reduce congestion.

If injuries go up it is directly the fault of the Ontario government. If they didn't looked at this data, it is negligence. If they did, it is conspiracy. They would have said: more people will die but it is a sacrifice they're willing to make for a few seconds saved.

I'm glad someone is doing this. The government is making the streets mess safe and should be held responsible.

Some polling was done for Lansdowne 2.0, lo and behold the top issue for people polled was improving transportation to Lansdowne. What better way to provide better access to Lansdowne than safe, dedicated 24/7 bus lanes?

Glad to hear that. Watching that video made me wish we were doing it here. Good to know we are.

I may not have explained myself well: I'm saying that they build infrastructure with enough capacity for future expansion, so increasing density in existing housing does not necessarily mean the infrastructure must be immediately upgraded.
But I could be misremembering.

Correct me if I'm wrong: They overbuiid sewers and other infrastructure so they don't need to replace it due to population growth. right? So when people claim that densification is also expensive due to requiring infrastructure upgrades are misinformed?
