Going a lot of followers quickly which is great but I’m wondering if it’s people turning away from X? I’ll clearly have to spend more time here. Thank you to all my followers!

Much better for Biden to withdraw now, to at least give the Democrats a chance to find a viable alternative candidate. But listening to some of the discussion on @cnn.com this morning, and noting Biden's statement that he's staying in, I fear the worst case scenario in November.

Scenario: #Biden stays in the race, but looks weak again during the September debate. Options at such a late stage, post the Democratic convention in August? None I think - the Democrats face utter defeat in November.

X-Twitter seems to be overwhelmed with mindless Tik Tok videos at the moment - so I'm hanging out again at Blue Sky for a while.

Fear of escalation to a wider war or even nuclear war played a big part in us self deterring. Putin played on that. I think there is still that fear but it’s accentuated by an unwillingness to comprehend the consequences of a Russian eventual victory if we lose our resolve you assist Ukraine.
