01.11.2025 02:34 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0They look so fancy! And I hope they're toasty, too :D.
23.10.2025 01:17 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0Heh. G arrived home with his laundry today and put it in the washer, then went to the hamper to see if he could add anything (As IF). But it turned out I'd forgotten to throw my jammies in my load this morning, so there Was something I could add! (Yay, so glad you got to laundry and vegging :)!)
21.10.2025 01:54 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0It's such a nice airport! Even when things looked dire, they organized and got us through customs in plenty of time for our flight. Flying through it made me want to actually visit some day! Hope your flight home is relatively easy!
19.10.2025 22:22 â ð 2 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0It was awesome weather for it, and it sounds like your body gave it your all. Go you! I hope you get to return for more!
19.10.2025 22:19 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Such a good protest here in Boston today. Multiple bands, so many inflatable chickens and some frogs and unicorns and Cartman (???), great signs, great weather, angry and joyful and as I left a little early the roar of the crowd from blocks away was terrifying and awesome. Power to the people!
18.10.2025 23:21 â ð 3 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0You look like you're having a Wonderful time there <3. So glad it was good! Here's hoping the jet lag resolves quickly, when it kicks ass it truly is a strugglebus situation.
17.10.2025 21:06 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Good luck! I hope everyone relaxes, restores, and then has fun crushing it tomorrow! ð
17.10.2025 13:03 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0So if things come in threes, the deaths should stop now that mom, G's ex, and my SIL's dad have all died in ~3 months, right? I mean, we're extremely fortunate in that (other than mom) these deaths only cause tangential effects in our lives. Still, here's to good health all around, folks <3.
15.10.2025 22:10 â ð 2 ð 0 ðŽ 4 ð 0Ooh, yes. I used to follow Newfoundland Dog breeders in several countries, so I usually had a bunch of puppies in my feed (along with a lot of wildflowers, trees, and fungi). A stellar social media experience!
15.10.2025 21:59 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I wrote a trilogy of novels published by HarperCollins about a brother and sister caught on opposite sides of the war to unite Viking Age Norway.
Today is my birthday and if you are inclined to share this, it would be a lovely present!

Happy Birthday!
15.10.2025 17:41 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Eeeeenh, I certainly wasn't Not an ass, either, she was pretty kind - I've experienced stern Russians, and she let me off easy. Along with being shushed for being loud at breakfast at the Lithuanian Ligation, it taught me a Little about not being an ugly American - good lesson!
15.10.2025 02:20 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I was trying to be considerate, wondering if I should offer up my seat? And this was after a kind soul rescued me when I took the totally wrong subway line and got hopelessly lost, too. Everyone was so kind to me... except when I was a complete and total ass. ð
15.10.2025 01:13 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I have never been smaller, even when born premie. I think she was Slightly consoled by my beet-red mortification. (I'd learned that many a street vendor spoke impeccable English from their engineering PhD schooling, etc, how could I NOT realize "babushka" would be understood by Everyone? Ugh.)
15.10.2025 01:08 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I first learned it to mean a kerchief headscarf and loved them for hippy/Russian reasons. But that reminds me my biggest embarrassment in Moscow: asking my colleague Alex on the subway, "should I give the babushka my seat?", whereupon she replied in perfect English "I am Not a babushka!" ðŦ
14.10.2025 23:19 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0A good closet clean is such a good thing! I hope you get to enjoy more space and a sense of feeling lighter!
14.10.2025 19:03 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Oooh, exciting! I've wanted to go ever since seeing Sara Polley in No Such Thing - the monster lived in Iceland and I wanted to spend more time around his cave, cuz it was gorgeous. I hope you get to float and see awesome waterfalls and northern lights and have a blast!
14.10.2025 18:04 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I was just today confused about a friend's post until I thought it through and realized I was thinking about the plot of the other show. Three syllable single conceptual words that start with S shows are Highly Conflatable!
13.10.2025 00:24 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Awwww, you both look pretty content at your Plan C anniverary dinner :D. Happy 11th Anniversary to you!
13.10.2025 00:19 â ð 2 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0That kashpo is amazing, plants look happy, and I'm awaiting news of the moss pole monstera experiment. Also, you're getting to some pretty advanced witchery with the petiole terminology, and I am here for it! ðŠī
11.10.2025 01:23 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0What's your favorite Fall vegetable? (Also, say hi to that adorable doggo for me :D).
11.10.2025 01:11 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0I can do 2 out of 3, but don't know Chili... (reminding me of when I first moved to Boston and finally gave up after trying Bill-air-ica, Bill-er-eeka, and Bill-eric-ah, had to ask what other possibility there WAS).
10.10.2025 01:53 â ð 2 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0I'd cut my hair a good bit shorter after mom died (she had complicated hair feelings, mostly that long was best), and didn't love it. So I went even shorter yesterday, and though this isn't a great pic? It's making me So much happier. Here's to being comfier in our own skin/hair <3.
08.10.2025 00:41 â ð 14 ð 0 ðŽ 5 ð 0Awwww, I'm so sorry for your loss. She also was either very lucky and/or smart in sneaking into Your basement and hearts, thereby winning an awesome life. I'm so glad you could improve one another's lives, and may her memory be a sweet kitty blessing ð.
08.10.2025 00:31 â ð 2 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss <3. She was lucky to have had y'all to sneak into the basement of and share this life with, and I know you improved one another's lives greatly <3 <3 <3.
08.10.2025 00:27 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0I thought of this today as I biked along the river and saw them putting up the tents for HOTC. Sadly we're away this weekend And the weekend of this booksale, but one of these days I will come yell my fool head off cheering one of your boats on. Best of luck! (does one say "break an oar"? -no!)
07.10.2025 23:46 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 1 ð 0@reginagiraffe.bsky.social - Happy Birthday! Sorry to hear about your ear infection, I hope you get to thoroughly celebrate soon! We're heading down your way for husband's 50th high school reunion this weekend, so you're still a youngster to some :D.
07.10.2025 17:18 â ð 1 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Yeah, be kind to yourself! I felt pretty crummy on day one ofter the latest combo shot, finally realized I wasn't doing myself any favors by saying "you're not even really sick, body!" over and over ð . If you can nap, much recommended âĪïļ.
06.10.2025 14:03 â ð 0 ð 0 ðŽ 0 ð 0Disco ball on fire! That adorable plant isn't going to last long in that precious kashpo (is it still a kashpo if it's hanging? I think so?), because it looks like it's going to thrive to greatness, but in the meantime... Disco Ball on Fire!
