While the only problem the extra players solve is a big one (the looting and CTF phase actually matter), it's amazing how much adding extra players acts like the Landlord's Special of multiplayer games. Slop that paint in every corner and crevice and all the structural issues are harder to see

I'm on a quest to find the truly good christmas movies. After rewatching Klaus for the third time this year, I realize that most Christmas media kinda sucks, and I've been plowing through movies trying to figure out what is actually good.

For years I've missed having a "Music box" and wanted to do this exact thing. The problem I have is how so much of my music is directly taken from streaming and autoplay lists, it's never on my computer anymore.

E33 already removed an AI texture from their game back in May, it was a newspaper texture that had clearly been generated and they apologized for it and removed it, stating it wasn't supposed to have made it into the launch of the game. We already know they used GenAI.

If it's any consolation, I bought and played Arc Raiders on launch in spite of the AI voice acting, and then grew angry over it while I played, eventually causing me to drop the game entirely.

IIRC, the study in question was done by telling people a slew of short stories written just for the study. I don't think for a second that has and relevance to stories written by professional writers where the surprised is specifically crafted into the story.

For me, the rosary economy felt *miserable* to deal with, and when you don't have any of the movement tech unlocked you can tell you're supposed to have some extra juice on your platforming. The moment I got the dash I started to feel the actual fun of the game, and it keeps building since then.

I was so close to quitting Silksong I actually refunded it after three hours. I bought it back and after 15 minutes more of play I hit the point where the game actually started to be fun. It's wild how bad of an introduction the game has despite being incredible
