I chose to fill the time by watching Waterworld and The Postman, back to back, to fully appreciate the Costner-post-apocalypse universe as it was intended.

I went for it, obviously, but it turned out loading up an iPod that size took a truly outrageous amount of time. And you had to be near your laptop the whole time to make sure it didn’t go into sleep mode.

But also, late-night Munsi lore drop: One time the Premier of my promise got drunk and sent every man, woman, and enby $400, and a local electronics store dropped the price of a 160gig iPod such that $400 would cover it, tax included.

Correct take, shocking amount of music that fucking whips, AND shocking amount of social utility, it’s unfair that the layperson only remembers the one tune.

Approx. three years ago, I opened a kids show where I was playing Shrek. It leaned so hard on my dysphoria that I eventually finally went on estrogen about it. Turns out my “jokes” about looking like Shrek were coming from a real-life fear.
