I'm often skeptical of reporting that comes out of the Strib nowadays, but Snowbeck, the author on this article, is super legit IMHO. He knows the landscape and does the hard work in this area.

I'm slightly more worried about how the center in the DFL has been increasingly dumping on the left-wing base. Those voters won't switch to Republicans, of course, but they could always stay home.
