You also forgot that Fateh has received numerous endorsements and support outside the city, highlighting that democratic socialism empowers *all* of the working class.
01.08.2025 19:30 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We fixed it for you, Strib! Sen. Omar Fateh is aiming to defeat Mpls Mayor Frey. DFLers outside the city can learn from his success. Some moderate DLFers worry they'll actually have to support unions & working class Minnesotans to win elections.

Anyways, vote @michaelforparks.bsky.social
Senator Fateh has been on the receiving end of verbal abuse, racism, and Islamophobia. The constant attacks are abhorrent and must be condemned.
As Mayor, he wonβt veto or attempt to defund hate crime prevention programs meant to keep our communities safe.
Screenshot of @charliekirk11 quote tweet of Leading Report post stating that Omar Fateh is running for Minneapolis mayor to raise the minimum wage by over $4 over a few years, freeze rent, and 'Trump-proof' the city. Charlie Kirk writes: Muslims are commanded to take over the government in the land they live. The attempted Islamic takeover of America is made possible thanks to mass migration.
Minneapolis is a beautifully diverse city that stands firm in our progressive values. The hate Iβve seen today β and most days β is not who we will ever be.
Iβm running for Mayor to work with you to achieve the affordable city we know Minneapolis can be. fatehformayor.com/donate

But things are changing. In NYC. In Minneapolis. And across the country.
Twin Cities DSA condemns this Islamophobia in the strongest possible terms. We stand in solidarity with all working people, across religion, race and every other way the ruling class tries to divide us.
