A lot of people have observed that the Democrats’ deep unpopularity comes from the fact that absolutely everyone wants to complain about them and nobody wants to defend them.

Many decisions will take decades to reverse, if ever. Republicans are happy to keep breaking things, even if some of it ends up not sticking. Sowing increasing disenchantment with government is enough. Government incompetence is just more evidence to support people's existing prejudices.

The "rule of law" in Israel has only ever applied to laws thay are 100% compatible with the Greater Israel project.

So, to summarise, Democrats should present themselves as lightweight Republicans? Kind of like the same campaign strategy they've always used? Convenient.

Or of most current relevance, intentionally picking a fight over government subsidised discounts paid to health insurance companies, and not a compelling, popular campaign slogan such as "universal healthcare".

"Bosses" are just another kind of employee and are indeed replaceable. The problem is that this just leaves all business income in the hands of the owners, and the only mechanism to spread that income to former employees at that point is taxation, which voters have been conditioned to hate.

The main flaw in your analysis is that you seem irrevocably wedded to a market-based solution to a problem that is ultimately about market failure, not planning laws. Developers are nobody's saviours here, as much as they would like people to believe otherwise.
