Do you all ever think about how you can purchase rolling papers legally (for cigarettes), but if you’re found with marijuana and the rolling papers, you can get charged for not just marijuana possession but also for “drug paraphernalia”? I know it’s all context, but still, it’s an extra charge.

I take Focalin during the day and Ritalin to sleep, and l swear, almost every month I have an issue because the pharmacy claims my Rx isn’t at their location or I filled it within the last 30 days or whatever—but they mix up the drugs. And I can’t use the app because they’re “controlled substances.”

Has anybody else had trouble with pharmacists and pharmacy techs confusing dexmethylphenidate (Focalin) and methylphenidate (Ritalin), and no amount of saying the words clearly (or their brand names) seems to get them to understand?

What do we think the chances are that the government shutdown ends by next Wednesday? I’m supposed to fly to Phoenix to see my grandmother on her 98th birthday next week.

Perimenopause symptoms for me are putting my 14-year-old stepdaughter to bed, medicating the cats, then coming into the bedroom to change the sheets and all of a sudden my body is ON FIRE like I’ve run a marathon, and I will have to lay under a fan 15 minutes to AN ACTUAL HOUR just to cool down.

YES. And also sometimes when typing more than a couple of sentences—a best friend’s happy birthday post on Facebook—when I go to edit myself, the cursor keeps going to weird places and autocorrecting mid-word. Or putting spaces mid-word. Just wildly hard to type a coherent sentence.

Last night I watched Hamilton at the movie theater, and there were some seniors there, and the man said he didn’t realize Hamilton had rapping, and he was surprised it was so good. He just thought he was going to a *regular* musical. It’s kind of sweet that people can still be surprised in 2025.

EF Tours is really out here trying to get us to pay $230 per month for 21 months to send our 14-year-old on a 9-day trip to Italy in 2027. That’s $4,830. We love her, but we only paid $10k for our 2.5 week honeymoon in London, Paris, and Italy two years ago.

Am I the only one playing whack-a-mole with scam callers over the last month? Every day they call (unknown callers are silenced but I still see them and get their VMs) and I block the number, but they call from a new number the next day.

And also can someone phone up Mike Elias and David Rubenstein and tell them to lock Trevor Rogers in ASAP? If we can flush $45 million for a talented but always-injured player, we can find allllllll the money for Trevor J’Daniel Rogers.

As awful as this season has been for the Orioles (and their fans), I almost don’t want it to end because I don’t want anything to change w/r/t Trevor Rogers. If he keeps pitching like this… 🤞🏻

Also I think that A-list celebrities could take some notes from soap opera stars on anti-aging stuff. (Wrinkles are fine and beautiful! But if you don’t want wrinkles, holy cow these soap stars have figured out how to avoid wrinkles without unnatural-looking filler.)
