Analysis of 14 million PubMed abstracts shows huge changes in language after the widespread availability of LLMs.

"Our analysis based on excess words usage suggests that at least 10% of 2024 abstracts were processed with LLMs."

Appreciate that! I would be curious if what you wrote is meaningful to someone who cares about using a good measure but isn’t versed in psychometrics. I gave it my best on Monday and saw at least person swiping on their phone. May or may not have been because of me.
