I regret to say that The Running Man is a joyless and humorless slog. I didn’t expect greatness, but how Edgar Wright decided to make a totally unfunny 80s reboot and replace camp with boring speeches is crazy. This should have been simple, short, and fun. It’s bloated and self-important.

I am watching MATERIALISTS on someone else’s screen on a plane. They have the subtitles on. I assumed it was a bad French film, and when I did, it worked better.
