Tbh the only time I’m glad to be an insomniac is when shit hits the fan. I wouldn’t have wanted my mom to go through this without being able to talk to anybody, but my sisters and our spouses were all asleep by the time mom and dad got to the hospital. So I’m actually glad my insomnia had me awake.

They found a blockage. They’re prescribing meds and may have to do a bypass.
Thankfully this is significantly less terrible than the last time.

AND my best friend’s grandma (who’s like an aunt to me) is in the same hospital with pneumonia. Which is super not great cause she’s in diastolic heart failure.

This man was JUST in the hospital and medevacked for a severe allergy with anaphylaxis.
And I’m so verklempt that I just had to google the word “anaphylaxis” even though I have anaphylactic allergies, so I use that word more than the average bear. I just. I don’t know what to do.

And everyone I know is asleep so I’m just pestering my mom with questions cause there’s nothing I can do.

If anyone has some spare prayers or good vibes to send to my dad, I’d really appreciate it. He’s in the ER for his heart.
He had a sextuple bypass in 2011, so he has a bad history.
I’m lightly freaking out.
