I finished Margaret Killjoy's THE SAPLING CAGE this morning while waiting for my kid to get his cavities filled, so I can verify that this book is super cute and also full of subtly provocative politics and terrifying monsters. 5/5 stars I love it

A tsunami advisory has been issued for Washington’s outer coast. State Parks has announced that ocean beaches are closed & people are advised to stay off the beaches until further notice. They are not closing campsites at this time, but campers will be alerted of the advisory.
