I finished and set up a shelf for my Rebel. My kiddo and I left out cheese and carrots for him too for pet remembrance.
I realized I only have digital photos of Rebel and I need to change that.

Soggy sleeves are my sensory kryptonite.
My kiddo won’t roll up his sleeves when he does anything with water.
It doesn’t even phase him.
And HIS soggy sleeves make me meltdown internally.

It is 42 degrees out this glorious morning and I’m getting ready to go outside to work out and I’m having slight flashback/panic about the Fitness Friday in the PNW and getting pneumonia from running in the wet cold.
This is really throwing a cramp in my fitness journey.

I’ve been painting fingers on the rocks in our gravel lot and sprinkling them around the campground. Halloween.

Hey, this one now beats out that time I tried to grab my suitcase off of the carousal and got dragged around it while everyone laughed and no one helped as the most embarrassing moment.

Being a Mom to a special needs kid is miscalculating your dodge and catching a left hook from your kid with your nose…in front of a news crew and hoping to all the gods and goddesses that they didn’t catch it and you don’t go viral for being a “bad” parent.
Sighh.

Went on a solo hike today. I stopped every 10 seconds to take a photo. Made it 3.4 miles. I would have went further, but I had to pee so bad.

Ahhh…I got kicked for a minute. I thought I was toast without getting to say goodbye.

I called, they could have said oh we don’t do that here but I’ll have the doc message you in your portal with a referral.
We were here less than a month ago.

It’s so annoying to be told to arrive 15 minutes early for our doctor appointment. Taken back 5 minutes after our scheduled time and then wait in the room….for ever. Why do I have to be early if you’re going to be almost an hour late?
Arrive at 9 for a 9:15. It’s 10:05! Still haven’t seen the doc.

I was listening to a Podcast today on my way to the store. They mentioned a dog. I got sad and said “I miss Rebel” out loud.
All the sudden a big Suburban comes from nowhere, gets in front of me and their license plate was “Reb3l”

He’s still the best!

For clarification, I fully intend to be left behind. Ha.

I can’t wait for the Rapture on Tuesday.
Maybe we can finally relax.

If someone confides in you, it’s because they think you’re safe.
They just need a safe space and an ear.
What they don’t need are assumptions that they’re not trying, and accusations of things being their fault.

I’ve been trying to get the kid to work out.
He says everything I ask him to do makes him feel dumb and look stupid.
I asked if would help if a group of people did it with us. He said yes!
We accidentally moved into a retirement community, so looks like I’m now leading senior aerobics.

Did I drive 2 hours to another state for a cup for my kid? No! I’m not crazy. I bought 2 and a popcorn bucket. Had to make it worth it.

Promised the kid I’d take him to see Demon Slayer because I lost track of time and we never made it to Lelo and Stitch.
Now he wants the special edition cup that’s only at AMCs. There’s not one here. Like at all. So I guess I’m driving to Alabama now.
What am I getting myself into.

Just had my first thunderstorm without my thunder buddy.
I mean I was his emotional support human thunder buddy.
It’s still hard.
I miss him.
