Oh, how I wish I could go back to 2005.

My thoughts and welcome to them. When I come up with something witty and charming, I'll post it here, but until then, I'm sorry but you're stuck reading this.
Oh, how I wish I could go back to 2005.
02.10.2025 20:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Robert Redford made so many great movies that people are mentioning, but don't forget about The Great Waldo Pepper. I think it's one of his best movies, but seems to get overlooked. Directed by George Roy Hill.
16.09.2025 19:46 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Took a trip back in time to 2016 and went to the Richard Rogers Theater and watched Hamilton in the absolute best seat in the house. I didn't think I could love this work of art more. Forget this streaming stuff, this is the way to watch Hamilton. Just fantastic.
10.09.2025 17:54 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I truly believe that Boris Karloff should have received a nomination for Best Actor for his performance in Bride of Frankenstein. It's an amazing performance.
08.09.2025 19:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The way she says that line, I'm pretty sure she's not talking about stamps.
16.08.2025 01:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Watched They Only Kill Their Masters last night on Watch TCM and thought it was a pretty good murder mystery. It kind of looked like a made for TV movie that ended up getting released in the theaters, but as always, James Garner makes anything worth watching.
15.08.2025 23:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't think I could be in this room unless I was wearing a powdered wig.
07.08.2025 20:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I must say I like this room. Looks like it's a nice room to chill out and relax. That drum looking table certainly looks interesting.
07.08.2025 20:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I miss the old Ruby Tuesday, back when it had the "neighborhood bar & grill" decor and feel. I use to eat there a lot before going to a movie at the mall. Then they turned it into an upscale looking restaurant type of deal and I stopped going.
06.08.2025 22:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I vote Yay. I like it.
06.08.2025 21:29 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am a huge fan of Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream (best title to a sequel ever). Oh, how I wish they had made a third movie with William Marshall and Robert Quarry and called it Blacula Meets Count Yorga. That would have been one epic vampire movie.
05.08.2025 19:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I watched Two on a Guillotine last night (thank you Watch TCM) and it was a spooky good time. I love movies with a creepy house and creepy atmosphere and this movie had both. Had some pretty good scares too. A fun movie to watch with all the lights off. @tcmtv.bsky.social
04.08.2025 22:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I actually like the blue, but not with those green chairs. I'd get rid of those green chairs.
04.08.2025 21:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh man, The Naked Gun is so funny. Liam Neeson hits a grand slam with this one. I'm ready for the next one.
03.08.2025 21:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No fooling. That is one song you do not want to listen to before going to bed.
02.08.2025 22:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In it's quiet way that movie hit me on an emotional level I was not expecting. I thought Mark Hamill was so good, and I loved the scene where he tells Chuck how great math is. How as an accountant, he helps people keep their homes by using math. That was a really nice scene.
02.08.2025 22:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No Joe Dante? I'm not interested.
30.07.2025 03:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hello Sharon, and nice jacket.
20.07.2025 21:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh yeah, Superman is an absolute blast. A terrific Superman movie and an awesome summertime movie. I need to check it out in IMAX real soon.
20.07.2025 14:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It still is. Hot dogs and hamburgers taste better using white bread and I will not be taking questions at this time.
16.07.2025 13:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The last five minutes as things are playing out to Tim Buckley's Once I Was is so powerful and moving it turns me into an emotional wreak every time I've watched the movie. Hal Ashby was hitting grand slams in the 70s.
14.07.2025 20:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It was no The Long Riders, but it was pretty enjoyable. I thought Young Guns II was much better. And you were spot on about getting in new movie posters. Seeing the UPS driver walk in with a couple of those tubes was like it was my birthday.
14.07.2025 20:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really liking that refrigerator.
10.07.2025 21:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It seems cold. It looks like one of those rooms in your grandmothers house that nobody ever went in to.
08.07.2025 20:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Saw F1 over the weekend and now THAT is what a big summer movie should be. It was so exciting that I forgot to eat my
popcorn. I took it home and ate it later.
I had a great time and I think Javier Bardem is the MVP of the movie. I loved the relationship between him and Brad Pitt. I thought they really clicked together.
29.06.2025 16:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes, waaay too much in the room. 2 bird cages? But I like the window shades, and I like the patio chair in the corner.
27.06.2025 00:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I saw The Life of Chuck this afternoon and it touched me deeply. No doubt it's going to stay with me for awhile. Definitely will be buying it on Blu-Ray because I'll be watching it for years to come.
25.06.2025 20:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If it had come out a year earlier it would have been a big, big hit, but coming out the summer of Star Wars, Smokey and the Bandit, and James Bond? That was tough.
24.06.2025 20:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Wasn't that the best thing about working in a theater. I was a manager of a 4 screen theater from 85 to 95. The pay sucked but I got to be around movies and watching and rewatching my favorite scenes and listening to audiences react while I stood in the back. So much fun.
