And some great lines too. "My mother mated with a scorpion" and Oxfordshire singled out for abuse. "Oxfordshire is not a desert land. It's a fat land. It has fat people".

Re watched Lawrence of Arabia today.
What an amazing film still over 70 years later. Beautiful landscapes. Great soundtrack. Peter O'Toole simply incredible as Lawrence. Puts modern CGI to shame. 50 men on camels so much more impressive than battlefields full of clone armies!

Whilst in London I looked up Noor Inayat Khan and visited her blue plaque. Thanks for the tip @paulsinha.bsky.social She was an extraordinary woman. Did you know she has a statue nearby? Maybe too recent for your autobiography?

Can you ask what support the 18k NHS being made redundant will get? If this was private sector the Govt would step in with help. As it stands we can't even get answers to basic questions from NHS HR. Come and do a session for us please?!?

It's a great film. I remember watching it when I was backpacking in NZ. I didn't realise it was a favourite of Gary's. I've heard there's a sequel but not seen it.

Enjoyed watching my son playing in a local tennis tournament today. Impressed with his commitment to a sport he enjoys but doesn't excel at and also the joie de vivre he plays with compared to the tennis "phenoms"

Victoria's response to kamikazi transphobe Linehan reminds us that angry men are happy to harass women in the name of (checks notes) women's rights and that if a trans woman appearing on tv sends them ballistic then this is not about women's rights, it's about the eradication of the trans community

Wouldn't Foden to replace Rogers if there was an injury or after 75 mins been a good pick? Kane didn't even play against Wales

Why does Stones get straight back in the England team ahead of Guehi whilst Bellingham and Foden need to prove fitness and form although clearly better than Gordon and Rogers

Why do Foden and Bellingham have to prove fitness and form whilst Stones comes in at the expense of Guehi?
