See how the news headlines read. Some news media get it right, "ICE Facility Shooting", but lots of others say, "ICE shooting".

I'm confused. Why does the media keep calling it an ICE shooting when no ICE agents were killed but instead it was "immigrant/s"? I don't like that word, "immigrants " but the "ICE shooting" media narrative doesn't make sense to me.

Pregnant women should NOT listen to this horrible misinformation. Pregnant women MUST discuss with their DOCTOR their pains and listen to their DOCTOR's recommendations.

My Lord! This is what is wrong w/ our country when the POUSA speaks like this. This is disturbing on so many levels. He is obviously NEVER going to unite this country. He has failed this country. Folks don't stoop to his level. Instead, unite, hit 'em where it hurts by voting when the time comes.

The leaders aren't leading us but only leading this country to more division. When the leaders put humanity over gov't party, that is when our country can begin to heal. Get off social media it feeds on anger & hate and divides us more. Spend more time off your phone. Take a long break. Breathe.

This gov't administration is gaslighting the Americans. Well, trying to. I'm not falling for it. Folks don't fall for it. Our country can only evolve & do better if this gov't does better & guess what, they aren't doing better. It's up to us to always seek the truth which will set us free.

Folks herein lies the problem. This is what I mean by gaslighting the American people. This type of incendiary language is the problem. This must stop. The blame game must stop. It serves & accomplishes nothing except the person saying it. IT NEEDS TO STOP!

Older Republicans & Democrats must stop the gaslighting & hypocrisy bcuz it's brainwashing our youth. Look to the recent murder of a private citizen in Utah by a young college student. Those kids have been brainwashed by the toxicity of politics. Words matter. Our youth deserve better.

Our country has lost its moral compass. There is too much hate between political parties. We need leaders to have the guts to step up and set the example and right right now there are no leaders at the highest level doing that. Our republican friends & my democratic party must stop the rhetoric.

Dems & Republicans must seize the opportunity & ask how we have contributed to this political division & hate.Radical political change in terms of how we communicate/treat each other is imperative.The president needs to tone down the rhetoric.We have more in common than what separates & divides us.

When leaders reject demonizing speech & model restraint, it dampens polarization. K-12 programs & colleges need to teach kids how2 disagree constructively to reduce demonizing rhetoric. Our country must reduce fear & humanize the "other". Reducing fear+building trust=lowers affective polarization.

American politics increasingly resembles entertainment: reality-TV style debates, viral clips, and personality-driven campaigns.

Leaders who are provocative & polarizing keep audiences engaged, supporters cheer them, opponents get outraged, & everyone keeps talking about them=polarization/division.

Controversy = ratings. Negative rhetoric, inflammatory statements, and culture-war battles generate clicks, views, and engagement.

Social media algorithms boost emotionally charged content — outrage spreads faster than calm policy discussion.
