Finished watching Star Trek: Lower Decks. Sad to see this show end. It strikes the perfect balance of making fun of Star Trek while also just being a great Star Trek show!

Todayโs episode of Mythic Quest (4.4) is so much fun! ๐
The cast must have had a blast with that episode!
Two panel meme. First panel is a beardless, wide-eyed Riker from the first season of TNG, looking at the second panel which is a stunning 6-foot white tufted chair, something even Riker himself could never Maneuver.

29.01.2025 05:20 โ ๐ 124 ๐ 15 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0kyle_maclachlan Forty-two years ago, for reasons beyond my comprehension, David Lynch plucked me out of obscurity to star in his first and last big budget movie. He clearly saw something in me that even I didn't recognize. I owe my entire career, and life really, to his vision. What I saw in him was an enigmatic and intuitive man with a creative ocean bursting forth inside of him. He was in touch with something the rest of us wish we could get to. Our friendship blossomed on Blue Velvet and then Twin Peaks and I always found him to be the most authentically alive person I'd ever met. David was in tune with the universe and his own imagination on a level that seemed to be the best version of human. He was not interested in answers because he understood that questions are the drive that make us who we are. They are our breath. While the world has lost a remarkable artist, l've lost a dear friend who imagined a future for me and allowed me to travel in worlds I could never have conceived on my own. I can see him now, standing up to greet me in his backyard, with a warm smile and big hug and that Great Plains honk of a voice. We'd talk coffee, the joy of the unexpected, the beauty of the world, and laugh. His love for me and mine for him came out of the cosmic fate of two people who saw the best things about themselves in each other. I will miss him more than the limits of my language can tell and my heart can bear. My world is that much fuller because I knew him and that much emptier now that he's gone. David, I remain forever changed, and forever your Kale. Thank you for everything.
This is a beautiful tribute.

Black Doves isn't bringing anything new to the table. Luckily it's still very watchable, Ben Whishaw is great as is Keira Knightley. Could have done with yet again the same flashback, but plenty of fun moment and touches!
05.01.2025 16:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0inished the third, and final, season of What Ifโฆ? There are fun episodes (I want a life action version of episode 2!) and I like how they wrap everything up into a bow, but doesnโt quite have the highs of the previous seasons. Still nice to have Natasha Lyonne be part of the MCU!
02.01.2025 16:36 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Veteran 2 (I, Executioner) is a worthy follow up. A bit formulaic and predictable, but executed with a lot of skill, humour & energy. The highlights include is water rooftop brawl, a hilarious gambling den bust and high speed parkour chase.
Now I really want a cross-over with The Roundup franchise.
Dream Productions is delightful! I almost didnโt watch this, because I didnโt care for Inside Out 2. Which was mostly just a rehash of part 1.
This one however was really fun! Much more funny and original than the movie.
Encountered a really weird bug with out detail/accordion Vue component. Because there was a dynamic `name` property on (with a fixed value) it removes the `open` attribute (even when it's static).
A bit hacky solution, only render it after the component has been mounted.... ๐ตโ๐ซ
I think I prefer the Zombie one ๐ It has a way better Lincoln

A great romantic neo-noir, Hong Kong style! Shot by Christopher Doyle. Featuring Kenny Bee, a young Tony Leung, a gorgeous Joey Wong and other familiar faces.
I hadnโt heard of this movie until recently, but Iโm thrilled to have discovered such a hidden gem!
