I'm tired of people saying they're going to fight.

You can’t fight your colleagues to support you. You need to work with them, negotiate and collaborate.

You need teamwork.

Watching the Elmwood EK election and this candidate wants to fight. I'm so tired of "fighting".
I just want a responsible adult who can work with others to get stuff done.

When will candidates like this realize that you need to work with others to achieve goals and not throw hands?

Such a low low cost (essentially a rounding error) for a project like this. Winnipeg gets hot in the summer. If we want people out walking, we need shade and trees.

The new system is a step in the right direction and has a good foundation but it still needs more funding and infrastructure changes to make it really shine.

Nice to see a refreshed corner store in Winnipeg’s Elmwood neighbourhood. The world needs more corner stores. Cities need more neighbourhoods built to accept and support them.

Yeah that would be a challenge. How did the old system do better in that area beyond community members memorizing the routes?

This is so true! I've been having some lovely chats with my fellow community members (mostly about the transit changes lol) and I never seem to be the only one at the stop anymore.

The status quo of how we build our city isn't working. We need to invest in our existing communities, consolidate our resources and slow sprawl.

Get used to this. Until we deal with the root causes of our municipal financial issues, we'll continue to see property tax increases while seeing services cut and bridges close. #winnipeg
