At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Media standards:

1) No Democratic scandal on par with Trump-Epstein, so it’d be biased and unfair to five it much attention.

2) Trump wouldn’t be shamed into resigning and his cult of personality wouldn’t abandon him, so Trump-Epstein wasn’t worth pursuing.

I think there is a strategic downside to the right wing echochamber for R pols over time: they get too used to not having to make a case to convince people of things. The ACA could be a fault line where they discover that past some point you can't just lie in people's faces without their noticing.

Wilson, Weaver, and Hanks would be a murderous front three, Müller and Payne are good young defenders and Dufour would be a great sub for that front line. I know the goal-scoring has slowed since Hanks went down, how could it not, but it's still wild they fought to third missing all of those pieces.
