I posted something earlier that I now realize should have contained a trigger warning for OCD and/or body-focused repetitive behaviors. I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to do that. Turns out today is the day that I start to identify my ocd behaviors that I thought were just stimming.☹️😣🫠

Yes, I do the pulling too. But it is only a certain kind of hair. That one upsets me even more, for some reason. The split ends thing has a stimming feel to it, the pulling is a fixation/compulsion feel. But both carry shame. I want to learn more about why that is.🤓

My coworker friend took this picture of me today and she so sweetly wanted to document me doing what I love. She said, “We spend so much of our lives at work and we don’t have pictures of it!” She is a treasure of a human and I’m glad she took this of me, feeling my happiest!🥰

Whenever I say something blatantly autistic, my husband quotes this, but wrong, on purpose.
