21.11.2025 00:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Got this for my wife to wear to meetings at her toxic workplace a few years back.

17.11.2025 02:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0White noise works wonders. Dealt with a similar situation living in an apartment ages ago. Upstairs neighbor worked nights & came home at 3AM & clomped around like he was doing a tango. Sound machine blurred it enough to let me sleep. Now I use an app & a Bluetooth speaker. Highly recommended.
17.11.2025 02:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So, the illegal immigrants that are poor and have to use all sorts of government benefitsβ¦ Those legal immigrants? Theyβre the ones that can afford to buy in our crazily overpriced housing market?
13.11.2025 23:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Last night in NJ was amazing. Tonight is overcast, unfortunately. Much boo.
13.11.2025 02:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sorry for your loss.
13.11.2025 02:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Northwestern New Jersey can see them even with some clouds in the area.
12.11.2025 02:59 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A real rare treat in New Jersey tonight - aurora! iPhone camera in night mode has intensified it a bit but it was definitely visible to the naked eye despite a fair bit of light pollution and clouds.
12.11.2025 02:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Forgive my ignorance, but shouldnβt there be some sort of limit switch that prevents the antenna from rotating far enough that itβs damaged? Or is there one and it failed?

11.11.2025 17:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Woke up this morning to a windchill of 24.6Β°F / -4.1Β°C. Unseasonable is right!
11.11.2025 13:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt know if itβs the mystery that still lingers behind her sudden sinking, the haunting song that Lightfoot wrote, or the fact that she was so close to a safe harbor, but the Edmund Fitzgeraldβs loss still effects a lot of people even 50 years on. Rest in peace.
10.11.2025 16:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thatβs exactly what Iβm using it for right now. The various channels do try to block VPN use and sometimes you have to reconnect a few times until you get an endpoint IP that they havenβt blacklisted. It definitely does still work, though.
10.11.2025 10:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ironically, I use a VPN to get *into* the UK to watch a variety of shows that arenβt available here yet.
09.11.2025 22:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Found the guy from Arizona. Not a snowballβ¦slushball.
They were pissed off about a sub-par sandwich. Canβt imagine what will happen with a slushball.
A frosty autumn morning here. 27Β°F / -2.7Β°C. The dogs are loving it, but this tree, in particular, seems to be done.

06.11.2025 23:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A woolly bear caterpillar crawling on bluestone walkway
Just saw this little guy outside our front door. Folklore says wooly bear caterpillar bands forecast the coming winter. More brown=milder. More black=harsher cold.

06.11.2025 02:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have a major problem with her post.
You meet Wallace Shawn and you identify him as the actor in with βYoung Sheldonβ?
Inconceivable!
We need ranked choice voting nationwide. We need a law that automatically calls for new elections the moment a shutdown occurs. We need a legislative branch that does more than pontificate and bloviate. We need a lot of things but I doubt Iβll see any of them happen in my lifetime.
05.11.2025 14:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Damn! I was looking forward to seeing your report on the place. Japan is on our radar for a future visit and we love to find cool, out of the way spots like that. And, of course, the Goldens there would be a *huge* bonus. Iβm sure youβll find somewhere else equally though!
05.11.2025 10:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We have an MD-11 that goes overhead out of EWR for SDF most mornings around 10:30-11:00. Instantly recognizable sound as it passes by at 25,000β or so.
Poor bastards. Looks like uncontained engine failure right at V1. Canβt do anything but go and land as soon as you can.
Rest in peace. Looks like an uncontained engine failure at rotation. Nightmare scenario.

04.11.2025 02:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A much longer flight for you than us but they have them somewhat regularly. It was a blast but a bit of a comedy of errors trying to get all the dogs lined up for the photo they wanted.
Whatever their size, theyβre still lap dogs. π
