Used to be 45 but last year, or maybe the year before, the city switched a few blocks up here and now we’re in 41.

I feel like every few years or so there is a big debate about rezoning and then we get a new Starbucks instead 😵‍💫 my alder wants nothing to do with affordable housing near public transit and my neighbors vocally oppose it as well but some of us see the potential and will always fight for it.

There are some nice big empty lots up here on the NW side, super close to public transit that would make excellent spots for mixed income housing.
