I don’t care if my post about how high the poverty line has become goes -200, I won’t apologize for speaking the truth. Meanwhile you whimper when you’re rightly called out for thinking LA is denser than NYC
From a poster called “just shower thoughts“ reading: when people talk about traveling to the past, they worry about radically, changing the present by doing something small, barely anyone in the present to really thinks that they can radically change the future by doing something small.
I may have found my defining quote.
Pair this with my pinned post and you will see what I mean!
Thank you for remaining steadfast on this issue. I know this isn’t as big of a priority for the people of our district compared to other issues but it’s a relief to know you’re willing to go against the grain even if there will be serious resistance from very powerful people.

The bus wrap indicates that it is a Route 60 Airport Flyer bus meant to accommodate travelers with luggage, but the digital signage indicates that it is running Route 20 from Sunnyvale to Milpitas.
Spotted in downtown Sunnyvale.
Poor Airport Flyer seems to be a little lost
God bless the drivers who kneel the bus for people with luggage

Double checked the income limit for 1 person and it looks like it went up in recent years. I’m too poor to afford affordable housing 🙃

Turns out the place I visited today are still accepting applications for Fall 2025. Definitely not trying to get in THAT soon but now I feel better looking at other places

Great place to hang out and watch both Caltrain and VTA with some goodies from the nearby bakeries
In 2011, a stretch of I-195 that ran right through the heart of Providence was demolished, freeing up 26-acres of Downtown adjacent land for new housing and an innovation district, reconnecting neighborhoods divided by the highways construction.

Apparently one of the french patisseries burnt down?????
The world may be falling apart, but at least VTA put this bench at my bus stop so I can hold my head in my hands while I wait for my bus to my inevitably expiring contract job

I’ve been sitting here before the long walk back and the families here are just as lively as ever. Really makes me think about what my life would have been like if my family had a place like this when I was still growing
I’m so sorry that there’s no VTA transit service again today. I especially feel for everyone that has to walk in the rain.
You all deserve so much better, and I hope there’s a resolution as soon 🙏
