The telehealth urgent care NP was funny and surprisingly helpful but also she was like "so you didn't go because the urgent care would *treat* you?" and I was like well yeah I can hydrate at home and she goes "okay but did you?" which, touche.

Grief sucks ass. One second you're perfectly fine and the next you're inconsolable, all cause you saw something you used to be able to share with them. And it doesn't even feel earned: they're alive, they're healthy. The world turns. It's so quiet, now.

An in *addition* to being a lonely miserable wreck for a few months, I have also developed allergies to every single thing that touches my skin including hydrocolloid patches and my pants. So simply going into the sea is starting to look better and better.

It’s so strange, the nature of online spaces and how quickly they can become inaccessible to you. You build a community and then wind up mourning people who are hearty and hale and who likely don’t even notice you’re not there anymore.

Of course everything always happens at once, too. I have to now manage a significant part of my income disappearing at the same time I'm supposed to be packing to move 3000 miles across the country while also grieving friends I might never get to talk to again. I need a nap. Or 6.
