Hydration free energy is a significant predictor of globular protein incorporation into condensates Membraneless organelles (MLOs) are assemblies of biomolecules, which function without a dividing lipid membrane in a cellular environment. These MLOs, termed biomolecular condensates, are commonly for...

Finally sharing new work posted on biorxiv. We find that hydration free energy can serve as a quick and dirty approximation for globular protein partitioning into condensates. We also present a comparison of different hydration free energy methods.
