Nextduino XL magenta It is used to play TZX files (games and apps) from a MicroSD card through an audio cable into where the tape deck would normally plugin, thus eliminating the need for a 30-year-old tape deck. Find your favourite game or app in TZX or TAP file format, commonly used by ZX81 and ZX Spectrum Computers, copy it to the SD card, and the rest is straightforward. For those with built-in cassettes, we offer a cassette converter for the standalone version. Use a mono 3.5mm audio cable. The 2025 version features a PCB with 95% SMD components, all manufactured in the factory as a single unit. Complete with sd card and usb power cable (which is usually separate!)
