Last year the design had more “clutter” and hides but neither of the snakes ever used them, except to shed. So I did away with them and went with a more open layout.Only thing I’m really debating is switching that bowl for a more natural one? But they use that bowl a lot so they might be used to it?

And in terms of new beginnings I thought this year I’d start a fresh Balfouri enclosure. This is what I’m rocking so far. Now just need the spiders 😅
That log is a phenomenal piece of decoration though.

Uhh they use a lot of energy moulting so lose a little weight, but most of the time they are hungry after, this time she was just not feeling it haha, she has eaten since so no problems though

Thank you! Her abdomen would’ve looked even better but she refused food after a moult, hopefully I can show her off when she’s a bit more chunky 🙏

Made up a new enclosure for the Green Bottle Blue (Chromatopelma cyaneopubscens) but more verticality and less plants, no need for many plants if hopefully this lovely lady will start webbing everything up.

Beautiful tarantula species in terms of colour and a really cool Webber.

Honestly the Natlan story and world building is still great, but yeah same for me, the art style (while not inherently bad) is not really my cup of tea unfortunately. Hopefully next nation pops off in art direction 🙏
