I try to teach my 4 year old son little phrases and words in Spanish here and there, but he always gets upset and says, "Daddy, don't say that!" I'm just like hey, trying to save you from a lot of hard work and countless hours in the future, buddy. It's so cute, though.

Doing a couple lessons on Busuu and writing some of it down whenever I have a little bit of down-time at work. Some lessons are very short, but something is better than nothing.

The channel was only available to us for a year or so, if I remember correctly

When I was 15 or so, somewhere around '04, maybe '05, a music video channel called Much Music or something was replaced with IMF (International Music Feed). Music videos from all over the world, with segments focusing on specific countries. This ignited my interest in other languages and cultures.
