A royal tern flies across the Caribbean Sea. The shallow water nearshore has a pretty light blue which is reflected by the almost all white tern.

Black-footed Albatross glides above the surface of the ocean. Mostly dark brown bird with very small amounts of white on wing feathers and white around front of face near base of bill.

The vast canyon makes the soaring peregrine falcon look tiny against the background of desert rocks. Taken close to sunset, lots of shadows across the rocks.

Scripp's Murrelet viewed from land! 🪶

Just saw a Scripp’s Murrelet!!! Right after we had given up, we somehow spotted the little black and white bird bobbing well across the harbor. Been a target of mine for years, so happy.

Snowy Plover stands over wet sand from a receding wave. The birds were actively foraging, dipping their bills into the sand searching for small invertebrates.

Easily my favorite shorebird.

Fully paying off my student loans was a lot cooler before Nelnet withdrew my typical payment again afterwards. 2 months later and they still won’t refund me my money.
