Found a very inexpensive Praktica MTL5B via Goodwill. Seems to be in decent shape. I’m going to run a test roll of Tri-X through it and see how it does.

Spent some time at Hope Outdoor Gallery today to take some pictures. I brought my Mamiya C330F and took some B&W and color photos. Grabbed a few photos on my phone, too! Fun place to photograph.

Tracked down a Mamiya C330F. This one has a 105mm lens. Tested it out today and developed the roll of Tri-X, and it’s working fine! Might look into also getting an 80mm lens, but not sure yet.

Loaded film into the Zeiss Super Ikonta rangefinder and shot a test roll of film today. I got this a while back but had not shot a roll of film on it yet. It’s a 6x6 camera, even though the back says 6x9. I think this is related to standardization of 120 film exposure markings.

Mixed up a batch of Kodak D-76 developer, so I guess I need to get busy shooting a bunch of black and white film!

Photo that I cropped after scanning. This is from a 120 negative that I developed this weekend. While walking to a trail, I stopped to get a photo of some deer that were in a neighbor's yard. One of the deer was keeping an eye on me while I was photographing them.

2 of the Seven Sisters standing stones at Sherwood Forest Fair outside of Austin, TX.

I took a few photos of the Seven Sisters stones at Sherwood Forest Faire. I never got a composition that I was completely happy with. I'll have to try again when the Faire opens in a couple of months. Two of the stones are in the photograph below. Yashica Mat 124G with Ilford HP5.

It hasn't even been twelve hours, but all three of us have been overwhelmed with requests from media for comment and I'm mostly writing this now so they'll leave me alone.
