The UAE is an authoritarian autocracy, a petro-state with no income tax for citizens, to bribe them for the lack of democratic voice or free speech
It is 85% migrant, a segregated society with a ban on integration in principle and practice, few rights, equal opportunities, nor voice for incomers

Itβs largely academic, because @KemiBadenoch is on a Liz Truss trajectory towards the US Nutter Circuit. But that the Leader of the Opposition would spread such utter lies - adding in her ignorance by suggesting the Sentencing Council has any role in immigration - is pathetic.

Banbury MP visits new βgame-changingβ school-based nursery in Chipping Norton
Banbury MP Sean Woodcock recently paid a visit to St Maryβs C of E Primary School in Chipping Norton, one of hundreds of new school-based nurseries launched this year.
It was great to visit the new funded school-based nursery in Chipping Norton the other week, which has been a game changer for local children. I look forward to the scheme being expanded in the future so that more local families can benefit.

βWe are home now. We marched from the park to ICE, very peaceful crowd. We were standing around ICE pushed us down, sprayed us with chemical and I was hit in the head with a projectile. This was so unprovoked. People have to know that the Feds are attacking people with NO provocation whatsoever.β

Jenrick delivers one of the most asinine speeches I have ever heard. He even brought along a prop, to explain how a judge becomes impartial setting aside personal views, then went on to attack judges for having views. His solution? Abolish tribunals. And who will adjudicate cases? Pfft. Details. ~AA

Oxford Bus Company 300 stops off for a quick half at the Wetherspoons
Oxford Bus Co has announced more frequent bus services from November to coincide with the congestion charge coming into effect. The improvements mean Blackbird Leys and Cowley will have services to the city centre every 10 minutes, while Iffley Road gets a new night bus.

Wearing masks because they are afraid of getting doxed. Maybe donβt treat ppl in a way you wouldnβt want to be treated. The brutality, abuse and complete disregard for human rights is appalling.

Back in the land of reality, here's what one of the Black people whose home was smashed into during the apartment raid last week said about his Venezuelan neighbors: "They were cool people."

This really needs to be said and understood. What makes it worse, if possible, is that it is not coming out of any genuine crisis or emergency. It is a deliberate attempt to whip up anger and grievance in order to capitalise upon it & in Jenrick's case purely to advance his leadership ambitions.

It breaks my mind that two British political parties have seen scenes like this and decided to try and replicate it in Britain. Thuggary, lawlessness, state brutality. Farage and Badenoch decided they liked the look of it.

Just a fucking disgrace that any president would say this to active duty military. But I expect it from this asshole, who has never respected the apolitical military tradition weβve had since Washington. No, whatβs more disgraceful is the silence of Republican vets in Congress.
