When I was a kid my mom had these two vintage animal shaped pillows that were like a project made from special fabric designed just to be what they were. One was a toucan named beaky and the other was a parrot named iggy. I wonder if she still has them.

The first two months post-op were a breeze. Almost no pain, not much swelling, it was amazing.
