This was the only route I was able to restore at this time but I will continue to work with colleagues to try and restore more service.

Great news! The first step on the road to saving MCTS Route 28 has been cleared.

My amendment to save Route 28 passed the Finance committee 5-2, and now heads to the full Board.

Same outage here - my sump crock is filling as we speak due to this outage. This week sucks. Whole basement floor gutted just 2 days ago from the deluge.

My heart goes out to all of you who have been affected by this weekend’s flooding. My basement had inches of water, but I’m hearing reports of far worse damage for many in our community.

I want to thank Governor Tony Evers for his decades of public service and for making the difficult decision to pass on running for a third term.

I was proud to join my friend Robyn Vining this afternoon as she announced her campaign for State Senate. I can’t wait to have her as my Senator!

She is a champion for our kids. Public education, mental health, nutrition, childcare, gun reform - she’s on the right side of every issue that matters.

This does not address the structural problems facing public transportation in Wisconsin - but it is certainly worth celebrating.

County Executive David Crowley announced that Milwaukee County had received $21 million in federal funding for service improvements on the Purple Line, the busiest, longest route in the entire system.

Good news and the Milwaukee County Transit System have not gone together very often lately. Thankfully, today is a very big exception.
