HAPPY ALIEN DAY 4/26!!!
This is a picture I took last year for Halloween, using different Aliens figures from different toy companies.
Thursday delivery: DC Direct New Gods Mister Miracle!!
Story time: this is the second time Iβve owned this figure after my original one got damaged.
This is one of my all-time favorites. So close to Jack Kirbyβs original artwork.
Minimates action figures: In an AEW wrestling ring, Mariah May is in a yellow powerloader exoskeleton and she is holding a championship belt with one hand. Her other hand is outstretched with the powerloader's arm, which is grasping a battle-damaged Xenomorph with Timeless Toni Storm's head. The Xenomorph is watching and reaching her hand towards Mariah. ---- I mean, I stopped putting Toni's head on Miss Piggy, yeah? Leading up to the Hollywood Ending, I did a bunch of these movie endings with Mariah and Toni instead. This is one of my favorites of the set. I really like how it turned out. The way that they're both posed is what I was going for. (Something something Xenomorph subtext something what)
Minimates action figures: In an AEW wrestling ring, Mechagodzilla stands in one corner. Coming out of the opposite corner is Godzilla, who is wielding a steel chair. --- I mean- it's basically Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, aka the best non-Nintendo GameCube game.
Minimates action figures: In an AEW wrestling ring, Darby Allin is on a ladder. He is pulling a Sting mask off of "Sting" - revealing Rodan's head and winged hands. --- Don't ask me why pulling the Sting mask off also removed Rodan's gloves, ok? Also, Sting unmasking to reveal Sting is the funniest thing ever and I'm really close to getting another pack just to do that.
Minimates action figures: Top-down shot of an AEW wrestling ring with a broken table, a ladder, and other weapons laying about. Laying in the middle of the ring are Timeless Toni Storm and Mariah May with a championship belt. --- I also did a series of preview shots and outcome shots ahead of the Hollywood Ending (mostly so I could gloat if Mariah won). This was what was leftover after I was done. Btw that match was fantastic and should have been the main and I'm still sad about the finish haha.
